You are here:

LimeBOUND is a UV stable resin bound aggregate surface that is suitable for pedestrian and vehicular access. It’s permeable, decorative and functional all in one, meaning no standing water and a surface that will last for many years to come. It will be fully compliant with sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) regulations when installed with a SuDS compliant base and sub base.

The LimeBOUND resin system is designed for use with specialist kiln dried aggregate and two-part UV stable polyurethane resins. The two work perfectly together and have been developed by one of the leading names in the resin surfacing market. We can advise you on the quantities of resin and aggregate you will need, and you can find plenty of resources on our website detailing all the technical information you require for installation.

Dos and Don’ts with

Do …

  • Use resin that meets industry standards
  • Use UV aliphatic resin
  • Use kiln dried aggregates
  • Buy a system from one supplier
  • Use a quality trowel aid

  • Check resin meets BS 8204-6 slip test regulations
  • Check iron rating for aggregates
  • Use a two-part UV resin
  • Read the health and safety datasheets
  • Time your mixes
  • Use approved contractors
  • Install a minimum of 15mm
  • Check granule PSV value

Don’t …

  • Simply buy the cheapest – do your research
  • Use non-UV resins
  • Use wet aggregate
  • Buy different parts from different suppliers
  • Use white spirit
  • Buy from an unaccredited supplier
  • Gamble on slip resistance
  • Use a three part (catalyst separate)
  • Ignore health and safety
  • Guess your mixing times
  • Buy based on price only
  • Take the sale over quality
  • Install at 12mm or less
  • Install glass unless it’s in a non-pedestrian area
